MF Shore 09's... #1 in state, #1 in region, #1 in the country, and #1 at the junior elite soccer camp at UNC.

AS for the rest, they can launch a league and provide a pathway, but if someone else markets their product better and it reaches the market better, then we have to learn to live with those results.
USSoccer isn't to blame. They tried, the masses said "no". That's where we are at.

The money now comes from families and the system reflects that. This system serves talent that can pay for their own development. Is that the best we have? Who knows but common sense would dictate that some is and some is not. And the talent that is not is not involved.
Obviously us soccer is aware that that top teams must be subsidized to even hope to gather up the best available talent as is done on the boys side.

What is the incentive for club's, and thereby parents? There isn't any.
I don't see US Soccer as fault for this, though.

Boys don't care about HS, and girls absolutely do. As soon as they tried to say "no HS" it was doomed.

When they are paying am arm a leg to participate? Then ok...dont charge me an arm and a leg and then crap all over my HS team. When you are paying for me to participate? Then ok...HS sucks.

the HS issue was such a clearly stupid hill for them to die on but in the end it doesn't matter. DA was killed for both and reality is that BDA was probably 95% of the decision and GDA an afterthought as always.

Of course we can complain. Instead of creating a platform to be managed by member clubs in the form of a partnership, USSF was greedy, overzealous and placed dumb restriction on clubs, coaches and players. USSF should have just created the DA platform and encourage fair and open competition to all, accountability and a pathway to college and USNT. They blew it and actually did the same exact thing they accused ECNL of doing (greed and power seeking).
