Blows me away how you consistently only discuss top teams/leagues. You’re certainly not shy about labeling the other 90% of your Club as bill payers. The business people in your Club squirm every time you do this. Get over your ego. The masses want good training— not empty promises, titles, etc.

If your goal is to improve the quality of soccer in the Tampa Bay area and statewide, there is a much better solution than making one big mega-club. Also competition brings out the best in folks and is necessary for a healthy competitive landscape.
There are plenty of potential athletes in Florida, you just gotta get them on a soccer field, especially at a young age. So how do you do it?
1. Create free recreational soccer options
Local rec league options that are accessible and free. There are plenty of young athletes in Florida (and the Tampa Bay area in particular) that don't play soccer simply because they can' t afford it, or don't have access to a facility or club. There are many quality kids playing in local private leagues that don't play rec or club soccer because even the minimal cost and travel is unrealistic for their situation. Create free options in local communities and do it everywhere, and the amount and quality of players will increase. Kids in other countries play for free at local clubs.
2. Reduce the cost of competitive registration fees
Athletes must have a financial obligation and have some skin in the game, but with the amount paid in uniform costs, travel expenses, tournament fees, league fees, ref fees, etc... registration fees should be affordable for families. Coaches, directors, facilities, marketing, insurance, etc... all cost money, but a reduction in competitive player registration fees could be made up through increased participation.
Here's some numbers:
Number of registered FYSA players at TBU, WFF, FP & CC in 2019/2020 - 8,302
Tampa Bay Area Population - 3,177,737
0-17 age population - 852,600
.02% of kids in Tampa Bay is too small of a player pool, which is the number of players in all of these Clubs put together, including rec players.
You have to think bigger; if you want to have Florida/US compete nationally/globally, you need to make sure that every possible athlete has the opportunity to play soccer from a early age. The athletes are here, but the clubs are bickering over a small slice of cake when they just need to focus on making the cake bigger.

tampa bay premier soccer academy has a nice ring to it. All locations will operate independently. Each location will have access to all players and leagues. Players promotional can only be done internally. what this means is that players will have to join the club prior to ecnl and mls next eligibility. The club would make enough money to go around, the teams would be top notch, and you can charge the parents more. No more posting or debating about the best team or club. We will be one club one family.

The complaint is that it is great for 20 kids for each age group and gender. But if your kid is not on that team by the time they turn 13 years old, they will forever be stuck on one of the "B" teams in Michigan - and many kids leave the sport all together when they realize that.
