That’s how a pyramid scheme works.

what would your club do if really good players, players better than the current players tryout every year?

Would they stop recruiting. Would they stop trying to make the team better?

If they have 8 defenders and 2 strikers, would they cut a defender when a striker comes along, to make a team more balanced. This is what happens to PDA every year.

Our GA team doesn't have that issue, no one comes to our team that is better than the current players

This ^^^ if the player was good enough to make the team —coach them, train them, teach them. Create chemistry and build an actual team environment where the players help and encourage one another. By bringing in new players every season and dropping the old the team loses its confidence and then loses games.

MY GA team recruited 2 new girls for next year. They will start over the two girls that have been with the club for 4 years. They are clearly better players.

Other girls on the team are good players but not as good as the two coming in.

                  we know have 18 players.

should we have taken those two players?

of course... and if you had 4 new players that were better than the players you had, you take those as well and cut two players to keep it at 18. Its called competition.

Yes. 2 weeks after that recruit another 4 better players. Take those 4 that are better and cut the 4 loyal players you just brought on. Eventually you will get to be the top ECNL club in the NJ and go to nationals where all the real scouts are. That’s sports.

No but maybe you cut 4 more that’s been there for years and just didn’t develop the way they should.

It’s not black or white everyone is trying to make it black or white to suit their own narrative. The truth is all and I mean all high level academies want to win and no one turns away a better team for the sake of fairness to the status quo. It silly to think otherwise.
Clubs like PDA just get more opportunities to make changes. The GA not so much.

There is no harm in bringing in and recruiting new players each year! We are all talking about PDA bringing in new players every season throughout the year, sometimes weekly!! There is a BIG difference between bringing in new players at the end of the year but throughout the year just makes a mess and causes all the 100 pages of issues every parent has with this club. Essentially PDA kids tryout every day. Which some may say is competition but all the research shows the opposite.

“Didn’t develop the way they should”. Said by “expert” in girls development. You and your fake club are creeps.Tough guys picking on little girls. To me it seems you all stopped developing a age 3.

They are high all might “experts” in girls development. The most they can do is sweet talk swindle these little girls to like them. Losers. As far as soccer these PDA old men creeps should not get involve with youth sports.
