Not the poster and I don't think you'll find many who support the violence. You will however find many who understand the pent up frustration, not only with police and the justice system but two Americas for education, health and opportunities. Many protesters are younger, and with Covid crushing the economy they face very bleak futures, black and white. This is no longer just about Floyd's death.

Sounds like that is all trump's fault. Education, Health and opportunities were all equal under obama!

            Not the OP.

Of course I don’t support the violence perpetrated by the < 1% of protestors.

Now hear this - police and authorities must deal with the criminals exploiting protests to crime without violating the rights of the > 99% of protestors to assemble and air their grievances.

If you don’t “get it” it yet, look no further than the restraint shown by law enforcement when protestors were spitting in their faces while armed with AR-15’s inside state capitols.

There’s a great paradigm for you!

So when Tom Cotton wants the 101st airborne used he’s advocating a genocide on his own citizenry. That’s treason! Going to have a long memory this time cons

Well, Obama DOJ *DID* put mechanisms in place to reform PD’s, but Jeffy Jeff Sessions (remind me, he was a Trump appointment, yes?) dismantled them and declared that there were *NO* systematically racist PD’s in the country, right ?

So either way you cut it, it’s Trumps fault. Either PD racism existed and Trump / Sessions lie when they said there was no racism so ok to dismantle reforms or Trump managed to regrow the PD racism *SINCE* Obama fixed it.

So now that you’ve painted yourself into that corner, con, which way would you have it? One scoop or two?

There's decades of history there with all the poster described - racism, police brutality, unequal opportunities etc. While progress has been made, much hasn't changed. The GOP claimed racism was over in the US because we elected a black president. Clearly that's not the case.

What has Trump done to improve anything for people of color since he's been in office? As another pointed out he and Sessions overturned Obama DOJ procedures. Education? Trump and DeVos want to put everyone in private religious schools rather and improving our public schools. Healthcare? Still waiting on that "great plan" Trump promised, all while he keeps chipping away at ACA. He and the GOP have also chipped away at social safety nets and will gut social security, Medicare and Medicaid if they remain in power. That will disproportionately impact people of color more as they tend to have less in savings. You cons you to point to Trump's economy, but that's been fried to a crisp now, again disproportionately hitting people of color who work in restaurants and other low paying jobs.

These are decades long issues that the GOP is more than happy to keep rolling

Here we go again...trying to have it both ways...are these police departments systemically racist or are they understanding of the protestor's issues and in support of them? you state that <1% of the protestors are violent and should not be grouped in with the peaceful protestors(which I agree with) but then say the actions of isolated rogue police officers are proof of systemic racism...there are bad people with ill intentions in EVERY group of people but that does not lead to the whole group being bad necessarily... I have not heard of on police officer try to defend these actions because they are indefensible and therefore this bad apple has been charged...I bet you jumped to the conclusion that the MN truck driver was racist and trying to kill people as well because you lack the capacity to critically think about a situation and believe you have all the right answers...I am one of the same conservative posters you rail against all the time without knowing a thing about me...I fully condemn the actions of this police officer and hope that justice is served...my point is that these people that are committing violent acts and looting stores and destroying property denigrate their cause and do a disservice to the memory of George Floyd

You listen to madcow too much lol...Trump introduced his Opportunity Zones initiative to help start businesses in underprivileged communities(she probably never mentioned that)...you are clueless on education based on your remark(charter schools are not private religious schools at all)...healthcare reform was derailed by John McCain and once the House changed hands that made it impossible to fix because neither party seems to want to work with the other these days...and if you deny that the economy wasn't in great shape before the forced shutdown for the sake of controlling the virus flow then you are a liar(I know you are not advocating that he should have left the country open to save the economy...lemming

so 1% of the protestors dont represent the whole group

but 1% of bad cops represent systemic racism?

and calling out the military to protect life and property is advocating genocide?

you need to get a grip

As professionals who are given public trust, the police who supposedly aren’t racist have a duty to come forward and drop a dime on their brethren who are but they don’t do they ....

                            That’s SYSTEMIC

Thanks for playing. Simple to simple question.

and calling out the military to protect life and property is advocating genocide?
How can the 101st airborne respond as Tom Cotton suggested without killing innocent protestors? That’s a genocide.

Thanks for playing but that was yet another simple answer to a simple question.

you need to get a grip
Given the answers above, that’s just a dumb con projecting again

                            But thanks for playing
