Florida FC is not eligible to become an ACADEMY!

Florida FC is not eligible to become an Academy in the near future. I called the US Soccer Federation and this club falls short with the minimum requirements. Their Director of Coaching, Ian Bishop does not have any coaching licenses. They only have two coaches eligible for this job and one of them is Adrian Paz, he has more qualifications than his DOC but lacks the charming ways used by Bishop to attract the right players to this club.
They will participate in USClub Soccer Premier League, a second rate league. Team Boca and West Pines pulled out from this league last year.

Requirements for 2012-2013 for the Academy:

U.S. Soccer’s National Team and National Staff Coaches will evaluate the applications using the following objective and subjective measures:

    1. National Team Coach Analysis
    2. History of Elite Youth Player Development
    3. History of Success in Elite Competitions
    4. Geography
    5. Impact on Existing Academy Members
    6. Fundraising Efforts and Fee Model

            Get a life!

If you are so F__king happy where you are, or should I say your kids are, why does any of this matter to you.

To be informed about what? You, obviously, will never have anything to do with FCF, so It makes me wonder who you really are and what your motives are.

            Happy Thanksgiving!

BTW, That Turkey drumstick you will be eyeballing at the dinner table!!!!! Stick it up your ass!!!!!!

You are wrong! My kids are registered with Florida FC. They are offering the Academy to all our families and I don't want me or anybody else to stay here for the wrong reason. Honesty goes a long way!!!

Who cares? My kids are getting incredible training at this club. I couldn't care less whether or not the failed US Soccer system in this country thinks Ian and others are worthy. I'l take a 700 game English Premier player over most hacks within the academy system. Does anyone really think our academy system is working?

And do you really think the people behind FCF could not get an academy if they wanted. They seem capable of anything.

They think to be capable of anything but money doesn't buy a place in the academy system. They only met criteria number 6 from this list. It will be 4 to 5 years before they become eligible. By then my youngest will be eligible. Dont take me wrong I'm, please with the training he is getting with Adrian but for my oldest I need to reconsider my options

Your original post sounded like the usual Troll crap. With that said, it does sound like you are a bit disappointed!

Understand that there is hard work behind the scenes and know that Rome was not built in a day.

Also, why does everyone run around saying that IB is the DOC? That is not his Official title for a whole host of reasons.

                        Happy Holidays

xx is the Director of Coaching, look at SFYSA website and he is listed as DOC. He is possible listed as technical director due to his immigration status. He replaced Kevin who was the previous DOC and he is DOC on paper for Parkland Predators and for his Bishbosh Soccer Academy look at sunbiz website he is not even listed as a owner or board member. Not trying to put down anybody just sharing some facts. I had the opportunity to speak with Bishop at one of the practices, seemd like a nice guy but he is not prepared to manage or run a club
