I found out from WMU staff member that Dennis was released. Not on his terms, I was also told that club felt that he was invaluable. The ONLY coach at the club who has a professional playing background and highest certification. This club have no idea!!!

Am I wrong??? But are you not meant to continue to invest and retain in the best soccer coaches to develop the players???

Club is a disgrace. The staff are losing quality quickly.

Dennis has been unable to get his Visa renewed since the end of November. He wasn't fired. Just not offered a new contract for now. I understand the Club has gone out of his way to support and pay him this whole time until now.

I can tell you right now that’s a load of ****. Dennis was not being paid I know that for an absolute fact and I can also tell you he’s coming back in four weeks so there was never an issue of him not coming back. He’ll back in time for the fall and coaching at a different club.

Good luck hiring staff. Releasing an email desperately hiring to a database of members due to several coaches dropping out of club in turmoil due to your incompetence to support and provide job safety to quality staff.

I would also like to add that you’re trying to justify his situation being in the UK due to not getting a Visa. Is that not confidential between Dennis and the club? That information being leaked seems very unprofessional.

It seems to show the clubs true colors and very evident that this is a member of tte club writing this information.

Who is taking over?

Some of the information being posted in this forum seems personal and should have been kept between the employee and West Mont BOD. I’m beginning to get the impression that one or more of the board members are posting these responses. Which, honestly, seems very unprofessional as a board member. I would hope that the West Mont board is not stooping to such low levels as to bash coaches that they’ve fired. If that’s the case I’m very disappointed as a current parent of 3 players at the club.

Truth, if your kids are good players you should start looking at ECNL (PF, Delco) or GA clubs (Ukies, PA Classics). Much better opportunities for them out there without the drama

Agree. The ECNL leagues are beneficial and provide adequate practice sessions to push the players.

Is Dennis a good coach? Looks like he landed at Europa.

Highly recommend. Great delivery to the players with the knowledge and experience to develop players at all levels. Very lucky.

So far it's been a very disappointing beginning and not at all impressive
Dennis doesn't seem to have command of the team just yet that was there in previous seasons.
There are few players on the team that have run amok and doing anything they want, hogging the ball and not passing, taking all the throw ins and free kicks when they have no business doing so at times. The previous coach would have squashed this already. Some other things like leaving their positional area and evading other players' spaces just to get the ball. It depends on the situation at times, but then it also leaves other players in bad circumstances of covering the area they left or not knowing what to do since those players are overplaying their space. Some examples like, what is a center back doing throw ins deep in the opposing team's side of the field? This happens a lot that the player always want to do all the throw ins no matter where it is. a few times the throw ins resulted in the other opposing team quickly taking possession and converting into scores due to the fact the CB's area was vacated and other defenders were left exposed. Then you have the striker who doesn't pass much and tries to cherry pick as much as possible resulting in at least 2 offside calls a game. These players feel so empowered that they even think they can belittle other players on the team. So does Dennis correct any of this? No, he does the opposite and praises these players after the games and even rewards them by giving them all the playing time. This just sets a bad example and divides the team. Was hoping he would preach a team game and not individual accolades. He favorites these players and other players are left feeling ostracized without much attention and given no real game time experience. So with all of this you would expect a winning season? No, you have a team that is in chaos. Months in and no changes when it is clearly not working and so the outcome of all of this? a losing season so far without many if any wins.

To be fair they were losing prior to Dennis taking over last month, correct?
