Probably more dependent on your child's age group and ability. I don't think there can be one clear answer. Also different age groups/teams get different trainers, and the quality of the trainers in certain clubs can vary greatly. Than you have to consider club Fees and travel (to practices and games), as this can vary greatly within these clubs as well.Comment

By about u13, u14, much of the best talent with the $$$$ to play in this type of league will be apparent. Call a pow wow with a dozen of families of the strongest players around and be sure to include strong goalie, defenders, mids and forwards. Leave out any extremely toxic families regardless of talent level.
Stay strong and organized as a group and approach all the clubs and negotiate the best deal you can.Comment

And by best deal I don't just mean fees. All of it. How many times and you are willing to replace kits and what will be required purchase. Which events team wants to attend. Minimum number of practices. Maximum acceptable roster size. What coach you want. What technology you will support and what you will refuse to waste money on, etc. United you stand. At this point, the clubs can just serve up trash and everyone just laps it up.Comment
