PA Dominion and FC Bucks ECNL

Heard rumor that PA Dominion boys teams will also play as FC Bucks in ECNL. Seems like a desperation move by FCB.

Did you see the horrific results for FCB boys ECNL teams this year!? Desperation is an understatement. They need a bail out ASAP - someone to keep them afloat in the boys ECNL. The rumor makes sense.

Or maybe because the ECNL is the real deal if kids want exposure. It’s not an opinion it’s a fact.

If boys ECNL was the real deal, then FCB wouldn’t have a problem holding tryouts and fielding a team. Instead they have to use other clubs teams who are at the bottom of the EDP league standings. Sounds more like an opinion then fact.

Truth! While ECNL is well established and arguably the best league for girls. The boys ECNL ain’t the same and the pitiful showing by the FCB boys teams makes it hard sell to a lot of folks - which is why they can’t field teams. The boys ECNL patch just ain’t the same as the girls.

Boys ECNL = Girls GA. Second tier or maybe even third if you consider how strong USYS is.

The FCB boys ECNL program is atrocious and PAD will save the day for them for sure. The beauty of the 'back room deal' is at its finest with this one!

In other words... the 04, 05 and 06 PAD teams will now become the FC Bucks ECNL teams. Which will save the ECNL patch at Bucks for another year or two. This is destined to fail. Why would families from Boyertown, Parkland, Valley and Harleysville drive to Bucks county for boys ECNL when Delco is much closer and can offer more. It will work short term with the established teams but the notion of PAD as a club is gone. Tom you sold us out. What's next Harleysville becoming FC Bucks West?

Not sure how this will work. Many questions...how does this impact recent news regarding PAD joining EDP club v club academy division. Tryouts for both clubs presumably done and rosters set for next year. What now another set of tryouts and reshuffling of rosters? Logistics of training/games, etc.. I guess these clubs can do whatever they like since I'm sure they've already collected 21-22 fees. Great job, keep contributing to the youth soccer mess.

They don't have to drive to CRN for training, PA Dominion will remain as is, but will now offer a better level of play along with college coach exposure. In terms of ECNL at FC Delco, it is a joke! The focus has always been on the DA/MLS Next at Delco and not the ECNL teams. Lots of talent in Bucks, Upper Bucks and Upper Mont, Co and this will allow for those players to have a place to play and get in front of college coaches. BTW, there were next to zero coaches at USYS Regionals last week. The girls played in front of no coaches, and there were not many more for the boys. All that time, travel and cost and very little to show for it. The time and money would be better spent playing in the ECNL and the move is best for these boys.
