BC hast struggled, coaching issues, players leaving. posters on this MA thread blaming her for losses which is absurd. There's ten other players on a field making mistakes that lead to shots on goal.

A coach at a much stronger program must have seen soemthing he liked. Even if she never plays it definitely isn't a step down for soccer or school. The reality is a lot of players wind up transferring for a host of reasons. Go in hoping that it all works out but know that it might not and be ready to make a change if it doesn't. You either accept it as it is, quit (or get cut if you're never playing) or transfer. Three options.

Yes but that doesn't mean she was happy. Sounds like the program isn't running well. or maybe a new stud was coming in, or Georgetown had some specialty major she wanted. Lots of reasons for transfers, but usually if you're not playing it isn't a step up. You're lucky to get a lateral move.

Understand. I agree there’s many reasons to transfer

The poster I responded to made it sound like she wasn’t playing

My guess is TP at CFC had a hand in it. Friends with Nolan at G town

Georgetown is a far better school and has been a factor in women’s soccer in recent years. If the kid didn’t love some aspect of BC, this is a no brainer move.

BC is a fins school but G Town is next level
