    Ranking CT ECNL programs

None of the CT ECNL programs is anything to write home about, but based on their overall places in their divisions, here are the rankings:

    1. FSA Boys
    2. CFC Girls
    3. CFC Boys
    4. FSA Girls

All of these are competitive except for FSA ECNL girls.

ECNL boys? May as well play locally.

Wow it took a lot of brain power to come up with that list.

Genuine question: So... what then? Certainly not EDP and MLS Next has one team in CT and is struggling mightily. So... again. What then?

um, CT has two MLS next clubs. Both are mediocre, OW slightly better, but the league is light years above boys ECNL.

Age - Rank OW Rank BS

              U14 13 14
              U15 4 7
              U16 7 3
              U17 3 9
              U19 3 7

thanks. Forgot BS is there. In the lower ages, both programs are at or very near the bottom of the tables. But it's worth it for those families to travel hours to get crushed every week because of the league branding? For a league that has been rumored to be collapsing before it really gets going? A bunch of ages have only played 4 or 5 matches. Why?

Must be nice to just sit over there behind your computer screen and judge...then cast those judgements on an anonymous message board.

You judge everything without ever knowing what you're looking at...and you do realize you're judging teenage boys & girls, correct? Let's not forget that part of it.

You're on an anonymous message board talking about "how good of soccer players" teenage boys and girls. Some kind of weird.

You judge numbers on a computer screen (scores/record), coaches (without seeing practices) and college placements (when you don't know anything about the kid/family)

Get over yourselves, nobody cares what you think.

MLS has a much better chance of sticking, even if it gets rebranded again, than GAL does. And I wouldn't case dispersions for lots of travel and bad results since plenty of girls teams do also (especially FSA - they have multiple teams with 0 or 1 wins)

and no one cares about yours either. Do you really think admonishing a TS poster goes anywhere? It's mostly entertainment and chatter with a heafty dose of club-on-club bashing. No need to get your panties in a bunch

Not casting aspersions - I WANT MLSn to stick. I WANT there to be a central and southern MLSn club in CT. I WANT ECNL (boys) to grow and be a place for top talent to thrive. (I mean, I want a lot more than that but have been resigned to the idiotic US Soccer ways for a decade).
