After reading these threads and team bashing etc it needs to be said, ECNL is not NOT the most important thing for your player to be part of no matter how talented your kid is. There are other pathways. I played soccer in college as many of you and have friends who played D1. None of us were ECNL players. I’m friends with a couple college coaches, they agree. Don’t put your kids through the extra driving and put yourselves in debt to be w a club w ECNL.

All the negative about Impact NPL, but so happy it’s happening and with good clubs. Say what you want but it’s a nice to have something beyond ECNL!

Top teams. Well that’s subjective as we all know the top is not always the top game to game season to season. Happy to play any team out of Stars, Scorpions or NEFC since they have solid coaching from team to team. I know that the big clubs can have several very good teams but they aren’t going to all be ECNL.

Many around club soccer parents have an almost unanimous opinion of impact NPL that it is a horrible, terrible league. Just a fact. What else needs to be said about impact other than the league blows chunks.

The issue should be how do many clubs in RI charge the same price as Mass. Most parents are sold a dream.

90% participating don't know any better, or, they are happy as you said, because that is the level their player belongs at. But it is low/mid level soccer, come on, just admit it, nothing wrong with it. 5th and 6th teams from some clubs participating? That's really all you need to know.
