    NYCFC/World Class

I thought World Class was the club in the ECNL? I was at the complex yesterday and saw NYCFC teams all over the place.

The uniforms have both WCFC and NYCFC on them.

Indeed they are the same kits with a little bity WC patch on the arm, hahaha...but let”s be real any girl who wears that kit today is a far cry from the original players that founded the league, those were real DA players, everyone...there is a shining city once upon a distant hill...

You mean back when the top players were split between two leagues? Unlike today when all the best kids play the same one league. Ok.

You sound like the "get off my lawn" guy, and enlighten me as to where the OG players are now.

GDA existed for less than 3 years. Get a grip.

Not to mention NYCFC only lasted in it for 2...

Ir was finally going to be so much better this year with only one league until this blasted virus. Maybe next year.

True, but it was the best 2 years ever, my D was honored to be a part of something noble, something more than ECNL could ever provide, she wore her kit with pride....

LMFAO! Noble??? USSF just took a bunch of ECNL clubs, slapped a different patch on the uniform and said "don't play school ball" or at least don't let us find out about it. Year 2 & 3, they gave the patch to anyone who would take it just to keep the league afloat. Lol, "noble", that's hilarious!

Right, like the opportunity to beat the hell out of such vaunted clubs as NYSC, Empire and cedar stars?

I agree that the first 2 years of GDA were great. People/players were excited and the quality of play was top notch. Then the shine wore off quickly once clubs like PDA and FC Stars dropped out and were replaced with lessor clubs. If the above parent was part of the NYCFC team that was the most over the top obnoxious team I have ever seen. From the parents who were out of control on the sidelines who thought their kids were the best players in the entire region to the players who believed the hype of their parents. Their reputation was bottom of the barrel. Knowing Kaz for many years and think very highly of him you can see how embarrassed he was by this entire group. By year 3 he was done and had enough not only with how US Soccer ran the program but with that team.
