    NJ/NY Gotham FC moves



    Gotham FC loans goalkeeper Hensley Hancuff to Brisbane Roar in Australia (October 11, 2022): Hancuff will compete in the 2022-23 Liberty A-League season. She will join the Australian side in November and return ahead of the 2023 NWSL season, according to Gotham.




    Gotham FC announces four players who will not return for 2023 (October 14, 2022): The club announces that Domi Richardson, Nicole Baxter, Jennifer Cudjoe, and Kumi Yokoyama will not re-sign for the 2023 season.




    Gotham FC re-signs defender Taylor Smith to a three-year contract (October 17, 2022): Smith, who joined Gotham in June, signed through the 2025 NWSL season. She started 15 of her 18 appearances for Gotham in the second-half of the season.








    North Carolina Courage moves



    North Carolina Courage declines the 2023 season option on defender Jaelene Daniels (October 17, 2022): North Carolina announces that Daniels is an “unrestricted free agent.”
