Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with motor oil company Castrol. The World Cup sponsor announced Thursday that the Manchester United and Portugal winger will be a "global ambassador" for the company's football initiatives heading into the 2010 tournament in South Africa. Portugal is struggling to qualify for the World Cup, trailing Group 1 leaders Denmark and Hungary by four points. But with United, the 24-year-old Ronaldo is enjoying more success.
