Honest question, has that guy ever left a club on good terms?

Friend who has a kid playing for Valor stated he was let go under bad terms. This club has got to be in trouble. They’ve replaced two DOC’s in first year. Fired 3 other coaches during the season. Sounds like stability and excitement over there. Sign my kid up.

Pure speculation, but the COVID situation has to be hurting them pretty significantly. It is a horrible scenario for a club in their first year of operations. I have to imagine that they have a fairly large payroll and wouldn’t be surprised if the “litigation” is surrounding Mr. Williams contract/pay.

What territory/cities does Valor serve?

They also lost a coach to WPFC - Homer Screws. Don't know anything about him beyond his CV.

I know several ECNL/RCL coaches that Valor has approached, each of whom has politely declined while managing to keep a straight face.

Kent and Maple Valley. Before the merger with MV Rapids/Marauders, Kent's RCL club was PacNW.

Former DOC emailed all members stating he was fired due to being a “whistle blower” against the ED. Accusing ED was mismanaging funds and breaking non profit laws. Apparently club by laws are not posted anywhere and ED does not share financials with members. DOC is now in “litigation” over being fired as a whistleblower.

Whatever happen. It’s a mess. Not a good thing for a first year club.

It's going to get even uglier if anyone does some digging into the ED's hiring, the Board formation, and how the ED's pay was set up to begin with. A good place to start would be with the President of the Board's relationship with the ED, and who negotiated that contract.

I say if someone has done wrong.....out them. If not, they will do the same thing at another club.
