KingCo 4A Varsity Girls Soccer Season

KingCo has created tiers within the 4A bracket and promoted a couple previously 3A teams to the 4A 2nd tier (Liberty is an example). I’m still not sure I understand. The IHS coach says he will attempt to explain at the parents meeting Wednesday.

Eager for parents/coaches to share stories from across the conference Hoping this thread will a good place to connect the broader community to add to the enjoyment a fall varsity soccer season.

Eastside did not play crossfire over the summer. Instead of playing the Surf NW tournament they played 3 rivers and PAC.

And Seattle United. I think the better question is why didn’t XF show up for the showcase?…. No one went to NW Surf. We all went to SD Surf instead.

4A public giants vs 3A privates…. What’s the history there? Issy just got beat by Seattle Prep in their home opener. Same happened a year ago. Wondering now if the real state champ is the 3A winner? Thoughts?

The best 3A teams are generally as good or better than the best 4A schools. Also true in pretty much every sport.
