Fields are drier than yesterday and they should keep drying up with the hotter weather.
The grass is too long though. I don't know anything about dead grass but the fields the girls will play on in Virginia is top quality. We don't have dead grass there like Tx and Az.
I think its probably a bit soft to cut it right now without causing damage.

Well hopefully tomorrow will be perfect for them b/c they are all princesses and God forbid they have to learn how to adjust to slightly different types of grass. I for sure know that in college and the pros and for nationals it will all be perfect grass.

Thus we can all pray that they get to virginia where they don't have to deal with this bull**** grass length and then finally be delivered the grass type and length what they are deserved.

            Amen

My husband is officiating. He said the grass length really is weighting down on the players legs and the other officials. The parents above have a valid point about the grass being too long. .

Well....my husband is officiating and he said the grass was the perfect length and an appropriate amount of moisture and the parents above do not have a valid point!

Or both are correct. It was long early in the week and they cut it.

                      remember we are in Washington:

This is a hybrid. This is a cross, ah, of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia. The amazing stuff about this is, that you can play 36 games on it and at the end of the week take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on this stuff.

this is nothing. You should read the New Jersey forum then.. what you read there is what you see on the sidelines in real life.
