It will be fun to see how Justi's teams do at Pac over time. It's no secret that Justi is a selection based coach. She absolutely does not develop players. (unless her head buried in her phone all practice is really her studying soccer training websites) She purposely hunts for the winning teams at XF after other coaches put in the work then recruits a few outside kids in that are dying to get to XF. The talent is not at Pac for her to do this.

Sounds like you have her all figured out. I would love to get some stock picks from you.

That accurately describes Justi. Lacks the ability to develop players, but great at puzzle making when she has all the pieces to make the winning team. I always wondered what her and Troy talked about all practice everyday.

They talked solely about your child.

Please give us your assessment of her from your experience. With all the XF parents here I would assume someone should be able to describe exactly how great Justi is with examples.

Justi is a straight person. If your kid can play, you will get on the field. If your kid cannot play, then they will spend plenty of time on the bench.

It is up to you and your family to develop you kids soccer skills. If you have the skills, you can showcase them with justi.

I understand this for games, but it is absolutely her job to contribute to the development of her players. What is practice for? Isn’t part of your payment to the club to develop you child’s soccer skills?

At practice you compete with other good players. Just cause to pay does not mean you play.

I am willing to bet that the parents that are complaining about justi is because their kid lost playing time to a better player. The better player could have been with the team at the beginning or joined the team later in the season.

justi will let you know what your weakness are.

I understand this, and the best players should play, but the previous statement implied it wasn’t her job to develop players. I don’t believe this to be true.

While coaches have a role and can have both negative and positive impacts on developing players- most of a child's development is dependent on self.

                          Stop being a victim.

Justi was good at developing and attracting top talent. She is the #1 reason the girls program at crossfire is where it is at.

Coaches can’t develop kids themselves individually in a team format. Kids can develop under a coach and on a team based upon what the coach is doing and having team working on but no coach has the time to individually develop players themselves.

Can't agree more. Club practice is more on the team collaboration. Of course, there should be some individual skill development but shouldn't be more than 35% of the time. Similar to all the other things in learning, teachers/coaches, parents and kids all have their roles to play. Solely relying on the coach is unrealistic.

I was curious as well. Marymoor field 2 feels gossip free these days.
