They are going to be good some day. They learn to play out of the back. Results don’t matter. This is what they keep selling and the parents keep buying.

Celtic lost in group play to PacNW 1-0 and won 2-1 against the second worst 2009 ECNL team. A team that is 1-7-1 in league play.

        impressive.

        go PSPL.

Celtic has a lot of solid teams at younger ages. They drop off once kids get older and want to leave for other “elite” leagues. I’m not at all surprised that they could beat an 09 ECNL team. Will likely be a different story 2 years from now.

The bottom teams in ECNL are around the same level as the Top PSPL teams especially at the younger ECNL ages. This is not a surprise. If a Celtic team beats a XF team that would be noteworthy.

Worth noting that a majority of top EPD players are in AZ this weekend for western regional championship so pac are likely missing a top player or two. Some teams are missing 5-8 players for this.

Pac ECNL are pretty much that in name only. They don't have the skill to fill the teams, but they have the monopoly. I believe their G08 ECNL also lost to a PSPL team. Several of the bottom of the ECNL bracket would lose to RCL div 1 teams as evident in the mixed year where RCL 1 teams play ECNL teams for the first half of the year. Seattle United ECNL also very weak.

SU ECNL teams are very good on the boys side.

If there was no one from the PacNW B09 team that was at OPD, that didn't make the travel team, I am assuming the B09 is a weaker age group for PAC. Pac usually has at least a few players on other age group travel teams.
So the Pac B09 team might be weaker compared to their other age groups.
But I also know that the Celtic B09 is a weaker age group for Celtics, that I know with certainty, everything else I wrote is an assumption. I think other Celtic age groups have beaten the Pac A teams, at least the younger age groups. I also noticed that Pac may not do well league wise in most older get groups, but they do produce quality players in the end, the amount of college players they produce seems to be very high.

PAC is in the bottom 1/3 of ECNL at ages below U17. They are 4th at U17 and 2nd at U18/19.

If you know about Pac B08 ECNL I'm surprised you don't know about SU B08 ECNL. Not a weak team.

PACNW boys going downhill. Viet Nguyen is destroying the club and the guy is a Trump lover. They were good developing talent 5 years ago until the other dude left the boys program.

They are better the last two years because they get the cut Sounder players and their U-19 program has 5-6 super seniors.
