That's dumb. Moultrie has forfeited her amateur status, and cannot play high school or college sports anywhere.

Point of order: Does the asterisk go before or after the J-word? I.e. is it Jesuit* or is it *Jesuit?

Jesuit has no boundaries so it's not really a fair fight. But MS has a chance.
          Jesuit will raise the asterisk.

Though a lot of Jesuit* honks apparently still think that their HS team could beat the Thorns' U19s; they might be deluded enough to think that attending Jesuit* would be a step up for the young soccer prodigy.

Obviously someone drunk a gallon of sacramental wine

Did the West Salem defenders all get injured too? Where is the video of this game? Didn’t NFHS Network record this game?

West tied them a month prior and look what happened to them. Not even a single shot on goal. Even if Jesuit had let west borrow their goalie Jesuit would have still beat them all the same. You can build up your hopes ms but it will only hurt worst in the end.
No hopes just know. Your right a month ago! Things change, teams get better, fair play with bench players on non league games. But we will see. Not saying MS will Win l, saying they will give JS and crowd and game.

No! The west defenders suck plain and simple. And to top it all off west was losing 5 or 6 to zero and still chose not to play senior girls who have been on team since freshman year just to play their so called superstar forward who didn’t even get a shot on goal. The most uncoordinated defender west has #16 apparently broke her goalies ankle, it was a real joke. #16 SR is a terrible defender but somehow the uncoordinated player is playing for ASU. Hilarious they will regret that recruit real quick she’s never been good. What’s funny is people who post thinking west ever had any good players just because they try to add attention to themselves without merit to the reality of how bad the team really was. Good riddance 2019 west will never see you in the semis again and you never belonged there to begin with.

Calm down South Salem dad. Calling kids out like that is poor form.

So, in the past week we've seen one player's school disciplinary record discussed, another player's parents' dirty laundry aired in the forum, and now someone is calling out a specific player for one of the losing semifinalists, not only denigrating her skill but suggesting that her alleged poor form is what caused the injury to a teammate.

This thread is almost as b@tsh1t crazy as some of the girls threads back in the days before ECNL, when girls were being compared to gorillas and it was open class warfare on some of the city's less affluent communities.

I'll give Mountainside credit for one thing--from what I hear, their program does not tolerate this sort of nonsense. Obviously, if some crazy MS parent were to go posting on an anonymous forum, the coaches probably wouldn't know who it was, but in the two years they've had a varsity program, they've so far run a class operation.

Where was the players disciplinary record discussed love to see that. Also. The only player from west this year who showed any skill was #11 FJ. PA only came to west to gain exposure because she couldn’t compete in the Portland thorns. I feel so sorry for the west Salem team whose coach failed the girls all at the result of a bad kid with bad motives. The west girls deserved more than that and the coach of the year failed them. By the way Jesuit feel good knowing at least 4 of the west players were not in district and over 8 of them have played club together for years.
