No parent is coming on this anonymous site and hyping their own kid’s team. That would be incredibly stupid and they know it.

Example: If a parent doesn’t like Sunset, they come on her and proclaim that Sunset will dominate xxxxx school. That creates drama.

It’s pretty simple really. Nothing is as it seems.

    Jesuit will win out.”

Sad that people have so much bad in their heart.

Was the game even too or did one team dominate more?
Wow, what a difference one player makes! The high school season just got a little more interesting. Even if it was just a one off game like Pepperdine beating Stanford, it shows that David can take down Goliath sometimes.

In last nights other big match ups,
      Mountainside beat Oregon City 3-0
      Clackamas tied Sunset 2-2

At the end of the day does it matter? The score was 0-0. It affects the ranking and eventually the seeding for the playoffs.

Did West Salem really beat Jesuit? The OSAA still shows the game as live.

It was a 0-0 draw. It’s the preseason. Doesn’t count for anything.

Funny coming from one of the most arrogant self serving fan bases. Don’t talk about something (“being classy”) you know nothing about....

Why all the hate? Have you been to a Jesuit game in person? We play them every year. Not a problem.

We’re not even in to regular league season and people acting like it’s World Cup. Calm down.

Hey JHigh dad it does count, it counts for record and it counts for ranking which impacts your seeding for playoffs

Strange to me how Beaverton is 5-0 with only 2 goals scored against and yet their 12th place

                          Recreational HS team rankings.

An actual tangible concept and paradigm, so fitting for the Oregon girls soccer mindest.

Reminds me of the movie DodgeBall with matches streamed live on ESPN Ocho or the '8'.

because they haven't played anyone of significance.

Realized that but still it’s about rankings and how is OSAA to know which teams are good this particular year. Confusing

While this is true and even Jesuit wouldn’t be anything special in soccer areas like California, Texas, etc, we live in Oregon and its all we have. Perfectly sensible for us to care and applaud our own girls successes. Similarly, the 5A and below divisions should cheer and be proud of their accomplishments. It’s irrelevant that they are in a much weaker division. Note that the national rankings where Jesuit is tops doesn’t list the CA, Texas, Fl, GA, or almost any big soccer state schools so all things are relative. Regardless, in the ranking that includes Oregon high schools, Jesuit is #1 “in the nation” and that is pretty darn awesome!

Should no one bother to play or watch college soccer except if your girl plays for UNC, Fl State, UCLA or Stanford? Get a grip and realize it’s just high school soccer but we all can enjoy watching and applauding our Oregon girls play high school soccer. Must be sad going through life such a negative Nellie!
