Don’t think so. CA and other states gda teams would be unhappily surprised to know Thorns are letting their gda players play hs. On the other hand, maybe that’s why Thorns are the only gda teams not playing in the gda cup league and the only teams with pages that aren’t up on gda website.

Yea...but if West Salem does win or does do much better, then it’s ALL due to the superstar making the difference. Did Salem already beat MS las year? Lots of posts about how good MS will be this year but Salem is looking better.

Go ahead and look at west Salem roster, she’s #22 on their roster and a confirmed player.

Do people really think Thorns and GDA is something really special in Oregon.

Who cares... MS and Jesuit forward are in a different class.

MS is not good, their forward you talk about is average at best!

Quit wasting your time trolling. Jesuit scored 128 goals last year and conceded and one lucky goal.

Jesuit will pound MS, Clack, Salem, West Linn and all comers. It could be 8 or 10 to zero and then the JV team will come in before half.

                    So please save your time.

This is all true! Which is why Jesuit should just play in Washington’s league. It’s a school which cheats at getting players who can attend no matter where they live! Jesuit has nothing to be proud of for beating Oregon schools who do not offer the same resources etc. The second place team every year is the real winner!

Mountainside gave Jesuit a run for their money last year. However Jesuit really isn't fair and they are loaded with high level D1 talent and more players coming up through the ranks. The JV team from last year probably would have made it to the varsity finals if allowed.

Jesuit only best Sherwood 2-0 with late goals last season. What was mountainside score?

                            3-0 in the playoffs.

Doesn’t mean she didn’t quit GDA to enjoy her last year of hs glory. GDA rules are quite strict about the no hs rule after many took advantages of loop holes the first year. There is no going back if you leave for hs, unless you got a proper private school waiver.
