Either the poster above is incompetent or has not had the time to read through this entire thread. I’m hoping it’s the latter. The Portland Timbers do not have any teams in the league‘s. The Portland Timbers are a for-profit entity but they do not have teams are playing our leagues. SCA on the other hand has zero business sense to be able to start a club that follows the guidelines of the state association . SCA is a for profit entity with no active BoD overseeing what these muppets are doing. There are no checks and balances.

The Portland Timbers are a vendor that supply services to OYSA. OYSA has many vendors that are for profit. The rules are very simple. OYSA cannot have teams in their leagues from for-profit clubs. SCA wasn’t competant enough to not catch this. SCA has a couple of Muppets that know how to bring balls, cones and bibs to a training session but they couldn’t run a lemonade stand.

Its interesting how some have changed the narrative on this thread. The question that is still outstanding is this.

OYSA have rejected the player cards for SCA under IFC for the upcoming year. So what is the plan for SCA. Is it really to just play friendlies throughout the year. What are they telling parents about all this, considering earlier in this thread it was communicated they were confident they would be allowed to play in OYSA leagues.

It’s not changed , just a couple or maybe even one person trying really hard.

Truth is SCA doesn’t have a place to play in OYSA like stated at the beginning of this thread.

These muppets couldn’t set up a club using the link above? OYSA pretty much holds your hand through the whole process. They should stick to coaching only and apply at one of the local clubs

Ever notice how specific OYSA is to certain clubs and owners.
I'll make it easy for you....why is there such a lack of diversity under the OYSA umbrella? I mean Oregon is white...just not that white.
