There is a group of them that goes to odp regional camp every year, including this year when they didn't even do odp. That means they are very good.

Draw your own conclusions as to what that means about the quality of the academy teams/ODP. Invitations for regional camp were automatic for academy players. Not earned this year.

Name them. You won't because you know that none of them are "very" good. Some are fast and nothing else. Some can boot the ball 80 yards, and nothing else. Some can beat you up physically, and nothing else. But there are no complete players with actual soccer skills in the Thornz Asylum. NONE.

That makes more sense. I saw one girl on the list that was a bench player when she played on a TA team and never even made the ODP state pool.. Heard the Thorns Academy need her to get a starter to practice. Nice that she's getting some perks in the deal as well. ODP has been political for years anyway so carpooling is as good a reason as any.

GDA teams didn't play in Beaverton Cup.
I can only think your dd didn't make the DA team or she is one of the girls that got left behind on a gutted ECNL team. Either way get a life and stop obsessing on the Thorns.
