We are on the right path by eliminating high school Rec Soccer from the equation. Instead these players will spend that time getting quality training with players of like ability. Let's give this time and see where it takes us.

Extensive time away from home and homework and family.
Everyone can agree that US Soccer has done a bad job with the mens side but hopefully they won't screw up the formula that has been so successful for women/girls. They are already meddling and thats a bad sign.
The DA program has weakened the men's side to the point that we are a joke. Countries the size of camas are better the the US men's team.
Encroaching on girls soccer is sad. They likely will bring the quality down. They don't understand anything about developing young girls. Very sad.

DA practices are getting rave reviews from my DD and other kids. Tobin Heath very active in the program inspiring new levels of play! GDA bashers can cry all they want but we got the elite players and coaching staff. And now some of our wallflowers are blooming and busting loose on the pitch. Eat ya heart out E$NL and GP$, we got a new game in town and we just spiked the ball in the end zone! Y'all punks.

I feel really bad for the kids. What a mess. Hopefully they can salvage the program for the kids sake.

Beaverton cup is embarrassing.
How did someone think this was a good idea?
giving up high school. Giving up fun tournaments. Plus missing out on the high school extra circulars. Nobody coming to your games just three people and maybe a dog per the thorns coach.

I hear they are hosting Celebrity Rehab with Abby wamback, hope solo and Tanya Harding at practices. Authographs $25 plus photo $150.
Tanya Harding and Ronald McDonald will lead them onto the field before each Beaverton cup game.

The sport of Soccer is a non-starter for nearly 99% of the American Sports Fan. Women's soccer in college doesn't even draw flys to attend. Pro women's soccer in the US is a travesty subsidized by US Soccer.
