Thorns Academy did very well playing in oysa & fwrl last year. Thorns Academy will do better now that they have a better league and tournaments to play in. Some of the 16 returning Thorns Academy players might skip college and go pro. The rest will play in college. Many are among the best from their TA teams and would have gone to college anyway but will get more exposure now. Concentrating on Academy soccer all year and not wasting time on HS soccer & other sports will really bump up their soccer skills too.
