Oregon clubs can see through the rubbish, but alliance clubs are kind of stuck where they are.

The top NorCal clubs tend to have highly educated parents that want college exposure to give their kids the edge to get into top colleges. Pro women's soccer isn't the goal so GDA doesn't have much draw."

      Ouch. That has to sting.

Written by a man that is minimalizing women's professional soccer. Disgusting and shameful. They literally put in writing that the journey should end in college? Shame on De Anza. Don't they offer DA for boys? Male chauvinist pigs.

Far more girls from ECNL will play pro than will ever get there via the GDA. GDA is for B teamers and dreamers, and will shutdown in a year or two, if it makes it that long.

ECNL is a proven platform. It also allows high school sports. Focus on college. All the right answers.

College is over rated. You don't need no piece of paper to get a good paying gig. College just wants you're money. Thousands of you're money.

Better to go national team. much better then college.

Why would anyone think that GDA is not a college pathway? Are you asserting that boys coming out of DA are not getting into college? Absurd.

If you want college GDA is not the path.

Oh man....maybe you need to go back all the way to elementary school. I don't even know where to begin.

Laughable. It will be a strong college pathway.

You can get on with road crew during the summer and make serious money without any schooling. That blows up the whole ECNL idea of college.

ECNL teams in Oregon place about 40 into college soccer last year. Thorns got a couple community colleges. So thorns aren't totally about pro soccer.

ECNL coach lying through his teeth again.
If not this looks like a pretty sweet "community college" that this Timber gal got a full ride to...
