Let's do a little math problem.
18 players +2 coaches+1 manager = 21 travelers.
Average estimated travel trip = $600
Estimated number of travel trips = 10
21x$600x10 = $126,000 travel costs
Normal club fees $1800 x 25 rostered players = $45,000
$126,000+$45,000 = $171,000
$171,000 x 3 Girls teams. = $531,000 cost annually for girls.
So the Timbers are going to cough up $531,000 per year for girls DA?

That's around 25-30min a game. 3 games is 75min, again a lot of players don't get to play because of poor coaching and overloaded rosters.
The teams they are playing are incredibly bad or very good. The teams they play and lose 9-0 they don't touch the ball all game.
You are literally paying around $15 a minute on the field and considering how bad the teams from Oregon are you are paying around 30$ per touch on the ball.
You think I'm lying? Prove me wrong. Show facts that the teams from Oregon arent playing terrible teams or getting blown out.
Show facts that out of the kids traveling the kids are averaging over 25 min a game with some not playing at all.
You call this development? You think this helps recruitment?
You call yourself elite and relate yourself to a league but you are getting taken for fools.

Not supporting thorns academy, on the other hand, will cost my club thousands next year in additional card fees. But nice job attempting to deflect from the main point.
Where's your proof? Provide a statement email from your club.
Explain what a 'card fee is, BTW.
