Since club soccer is now shut down until winter, and since most 05s are now upperclassmen and PROBABLY on varsity teams (assuming they are on club A teams)... any thoughts on OR boys high school soccer? Who ya got?

Sunset and Westview all have 4 teams...creating a good farm system
Southridge BARELY has enough for 2 teams
Jesuit cut 35 kids and still has 4 teams
Mountainside went down to 3 teams, but had enough for 4 teams...this team will start to fall now that they aren't allowing kids to play when they have enough for 4 teams
Aloha BARELY has enough for 2 teams
Beaverton has 4 teams...seems to be putting things together to compete and create a farm system

Lakeridge and LO probably split much of the OPFC roster, though one of their key players lives out in Clackamas somewhere.

Fingers crossed the OSAA doesn’t cancel high school soccer due the spike in covid cases.
Plus, it is a good break for the other Portland metro boys clubs since United PDX has been dominating them!!!

Very early OSAA boys soccer rankings (6A). These are computed rankings on the OYSA website, not anyone's subjective observations. https://www.osaa.org/activities/bsc/rankings
1. Lakeridge
2. Glencoe
3. Lincoln
4. Summit
5. Central Catholic
6. Mountainside
7. Roseburg
8. South Salem
9. McDaniel (formerly Madison)
10. Southridge
Top 3 teams from each of the 7 conferences, plus 11 at-large teams, qualify for the Field of 32.
Since only 2 weeks of play, and a few teams have only played 2 games, I'd take these with a grain of salt, but there you go.
(And for the record: Any of the top 05 club teams would kick the living snot out of any Oregon HS varsity team, assuming players were cloned as necessary.)

Good evening, crazed loons!
It's been three months, almost, since someone uttered a peep in this forum. But high school soccer is over, and the boyz from Bend smoked everybody, and now club action resumes this weekend with the various incantations of the Northwest National League.
At Delta Park we have the "club vs club" division, we have 0PFC taking on NW United (from Burlington, WA) and Utah Soccer Alliance. And uPDX has matches against Timbers-Thorns North (from Coeur d'Alene, ID) and Washington Premier's B team.
Across the river at Harmony, we have the "team vs team" division, with Westside and BTFC both facing Idaho Rush, Santa Clara Sporting, and each other.
Of course... uPDX and 0PFC (and Cap Timbers, who don't appear to be doing NWNL) ALSO have EAL matches schedule the same weekend, some of which are in Seattle. How THAT is going to work, I've no idea.
