What happened with Westside this weekend? 0 goals? Finished 32nd out of 32 teams. Ouch.

Only have a few days to get right before a Sunday showdown with UPDX and an odd Wednesday game the following week against ADF.

One more thing ... total bull**** that Westside gets Rogue Valley, Eugene, and Capital all at home; while UPDX, FC, and OPFC all have to go to Eugene and Medford and Salem (OPFC and UPDX only).

What is field availability looking like for those travel games? Fields and scheduling needs for teams traveling to tournaments are always worked on in order to get schedules out. If teams playing one another need to a game change then adjustments are sometimes made.

Just a quick question (I am assuming you are an ADF honk the way you are talking)

Who have you beat in the OYSA season? You got us a key man down, by the sounds of it you got a lucky draw against OPFC (missed PK) and have played more games, mostly against the bottom of the table so far. You may want to slow your roll, and if you are who I think you are your son plays around half the game so not really sure why you are evan running your chit trap

Don't lie about things that are easily checked. There are plenty of non-BECNL, non-DA teams playing in the top division of the high school age groups in Phoenix. In the 05 Red Division, FC United (IL), South Lakes Cosmos (OK), and Salvo SC and St Croix Academy (both from MN) are all neither BECNL nor DA programs.

Eastside Timbers entered their U17 team into the top division, and went a respectable 2-2. Westside sent their 08s (copa red) to the top division (no BECNL or DA at this age obviously) and went 2-1-1. This tournament is NOT Dallas Cup or Surf Cup, or anything of that caliber.

Perhaps OPFC tried to get into the top division, and instead got flighted into the second by the tournament director. It happens--there were a lot of mismatches in the silver division in various age groups, some far worse than anything in the 05 group. But it's not a good look when your team flies to another time zone to feast on minnows.

I read that a poster on here felt like the hatred might be coming from an ADF parent. Pretty sure we can all guess who that might be. In fact, there has been a lot more fecal matter slung on here since a butt load of TA kids were kicked loose and back to OYSA (where they are average at best) do yourself a favor, just support your kid and try to see the good in other kids. You will be happier and in the end, less embarrassed.

I love it. Clearly you are on of those red azz parents who feel that of your child was just given a fair chance, they would be an academy kid, and would validate your pitiful, unhappy existence. I am not sure who said anything about the Chinook cup, but I will caution you to not rush to judgment (which from what you have demonstrated so far, will require a herculean effort) on who posts what on here. Clearly you have an issue with OPFC and it shows. Why else would you be tearing up this forum about them? I ha e several questions for you.

1. Do you have a 2005 boy who plays soccer? (You never know on here)
2. Why do you have such animosity for OPFC?
3. If the answer to question 1 is yes, does your son know how you feel about OPFC?
4. Do you think it helps or changes anything to come on here and vent about another group of kids?
5. Do you find your mood influenced by how well your child plays, his team plays, how his teams rivals play?
6. Is this your oldest child? (Again, assuming you have a boy)

I am not sure who is posting what but does it really matter? This 05 age group has several teams that could beat each other on any given day and that has been the case for the last 4 or 5 years. It’s funny to me that an ADF parent is so insecure about the clubs standing in the overall soccer landscape that they feel the need to bash other teams and not just opfc and you need to just relax. Good job westside, CFC, and opfc for choosing to play a winter tournament out of state and expose your kids to different challenges and environments- it will help with growth as both a person and soccer player. No need to be jealous....

This is correct, Red Division for 07 had plenty of non-ecnl and da teams.

I knew there was something missing in this forum during the DA years. OYSA play resumes this weekend, so we can soon stop worrying about who did what in which travel tournament.

Wednesday it's F-Bombs hosting Slytherin House. Saturday ETFC visits the Crows, FC at OPFC, and Slytherin gets on their brooms and flies down to Medford. Sunday morning Westside pays a visit to UPDX, FC visits Eugene, ADF needs to bring a stack of Lincolns to the prison yard, and OPFC gets to take the long drive down Interstate 5.
