Friday afternoon has Copa vs Monarcos (CA), WashT vs the Crows, and Salmon Creek vs the F-Bombs

Saturday morning it's Copa vs the Crows, Monarcos vs ADF, and the Battle of Vancouver.

Saturday afternoon it's WashT vs Monarcos, Westside and FCSC, and ADF vs Monarcos.

Consolation match, semis, and finals on Sunday.

Who will take home the highly-coveted laser-engraved log slice? And who will lose their car in a Harmony pothole? (Does the $10 parking fee include insurance?)

Cuervos go 0-3. WestT and WashT won't be able to score but will still beat Cuervos. ADF paid off somebody to avoid WestT and WashT but it won't matter. In the end it's FC Salmon Creek as your winner. They dominated Soccer Fights in the Sand, they will dominate Crash at the Border.

LOL....Salmon Creek dominated what? They went 2-2 and were beat down by OPFC and FC. Same will happen here. I am taking Westside. Wait and see.

I know this is the 05 crazy thread, but I did see that the ADF and OPFC 06s are playing at Crash. Should be a good game.

I thought only a combined A team was formed, and below that it was LOSC or WUSC or whoever.

They have their DA/A team. Then a B and C team made up of WUSC AND LO players, but now OPFC.

Given that:

* ADF were state cup runners-up.
* WUSC 05 Gold didn't get out of the group stage at state cup, and
* LOSC 05 Green was playing down in Division II (i.e. one short step up from rec ball)...

I don't think so. If you combine the best players from WUSC Gold and LOSC Green... it appears you will get WUSC Gold, and even if you rename them "OPFC", the result is a team that the F-Bombs handled easily.

That said, it's possible that the 05 ADF team has lots players like the 07s reportedly did, and will be much weaker next season. We'll learn a bit this weekend, as we see if the F-Bombs are competitive in Clash. Like someone upthread said, they got lucky and get to avoid the DA teams in the group stage, but if they wish to have a shot at winning, they'll probably have to face one or both in the playoff rounds.

(I suppose WashT and Westside could both end up in the consolation game, but that would be an astonishing result, and very embarrassing for US Soccer).
