5 Oregon Clubs playing each for 3 seasons, then poof the label is gone and they join their local club brethren in the OYSA or US Club leagues.

Portland Timbers DA is not part of the weekly scrimmage setup for the younger (5) Oregon clubs.

Local teams did fine.

Two local teams remain undefeated so far--CFC (1-1-0) and Westside (0-2-0). Crossfire, UPDX, WashT, and Timbers Academy each all earned a point. None of the games was a blowout (more than four goals margin of victory). Even Crossfire, which had to play an MLS academy team (one arguably better than Timbers), had a respectable result (a 4-1 loss) in that matchup. So local teams are hanging with their California competition--with the caveat that the tournament tries to arrange competitive matchups. And given that there were six (!!!) 1-1 draws today, it seems they did too good of a job.But nothing that happened in San Diego today should justify any gloating from anyone. Nobody is dominating, nobody is being humiliated, and Oregon teams are holding their own.

Other states are hanging losses on our local fare at an astonishing rate.

If all 5 of our local clubs combined- won at least half of their games played, then they are on Par with the other states lower level clubs (similar matchup arrangement)

Oregon use to have local club teams that would do well (win) against the TOP So. Cal, Colorado, Washington and No. Cal teams.

San Diego serves as the annual late fall wake up call to the Oregon Clubs.
We are not making up any ground & continue to fall further behind.

With the gap widening each year with the (little DA) local charade. This trend is solidified and strengthened with our Bona Fide MLS DA program grabbing the best of the best from the (little DA) Oregon clubs each season.

TA refuses to play local teams for fear of exposure. That is reality and a fact. Our club has requested "friendlies" several times over the past 2 years, and have been flat refused multiple times. Seriously, what don't you get? You berate and loathe the existence of local clubs, who are at least earnest and transparent in their attempts to play the best competition, while propping up and excusing the shakiest entity in town. Try watching a TA game sometime. I promise you, it is every bit as horrible as you profess the "local clubs" to be.

Hahaha...I need a good laugh this morning. 05 TA is an embarrassment. I watched them yesterday, and watched a Crossfire game as well. The only difference I saw was that Crossfire had more pace and a better defense. And Crossfire lost to us a week ago.

What has been said all along blowhard...That TA is just as crappy as the rest of Oregon. Oh, and since you are sondamn clueless, I watched your game with LA and sat with the LAFC parents, who said they were surprised that TA was "supposed" to be the top tier team in oregon. They said that XFire was a much more competitive game, and XFire a tough team. But, you go.ahead and keep lying to yourself. Aloha means goodbye.
