Not the TA honk, but only one of the Washington teams at surf (WPFC) is all that good. Rush and Snohomish are similar to many local teams, and would lose to many local DA squads.

Washington premier did poorly at Surf, but even they aren't the top Puget Sound team.

Actually, Washington premier was the best Seattle “little DA” team in the 05 age group last year, please at least know what you are talking about, stop making excuses and be truthful.....

Often true, but this time I'm really not a TA honk and don't follow Seattle-area youth soccer much.

That said, none of the TA honks around here have said much of anything after "can't tell you what the training is like--it's a secret. Shhhhhh!!!!!"

More than Lily, the truth is Billups didn't pay for or purchase a training curriculum for this age group. And as we all know, TA doesn't give 2 💩's what anybody thinks about they should or shouldn't do to develop youths. Their academy is the same, and possibly even less than others in the so called "little da." For all the hate and shade that has been thrown WATimber's and Crossfire's way, it would seem that both clubs have been successful.

You can say that since the DA that Vantucky has been good. Now the DA is heading into year 2-3 how does the next set of kids coming through work. Are there 07’s any good? Do they still play quality soccer like the 05/04’s did? Are they coached well. It’s all good to be great for a couple of years but can you keep it going?

So, the argument is that Washington has only been good because they have had a lot of talent? I would have to counter with has Washington made the kids good players...you know, actually developed them? O cannot say for sure, as not my club. In the past my son has played with several of their kids in ODP, and they were good players then?

I have a kid in the DA here at W T F C.

We train 4 days a week on lit turf with half a field.
Video review once a week.
Yoga and martial arts training twice a month.
Futsal training in the winter months.
Two face to face evaluations that are recorded.
Something called a individual performance plan that coaches follow for personal development.
Individual character building program.
Club Fee includes airfare only for trip to San Diego in December. Not hotel or food included.

I think the coaching has been good. The practices are very professional with a curriculum in place
If you have a child that is a goalkeeper he gets specific training twice a week with curriculum. The club has a goalkeeping Director.

Funny how the whole narrative changes to fit your neat and tidy story! Not sure how it goes from so cal da soccer is a hotbed full of incredibly talented teams, all of which would destroy ANY team from Oregon and or Washington (including TA) to what you spew above. Oh and quick question, how did the “far superior” washington teams that TA struggled to a barely .500 record with do at surf???

I will respond for TA, since it appears they will not.

"We feel threatened that teams such as X fire DA, Washington Timbers DA and FC DA have managed to develop good players, and produce good results...without being in TA. Washington runs a more complete academy than we do. FC develops players better than we do. Xfire can travel and deliver against better opponents. We are gravely concerned about the ability of our entitled, ordinary, little, snowflakes in comparison to these teams."

Has anybody else noticed....

How quiet this site has gotten since FCP performed well at Crossfire, and Xfire performed well at Surf? After the initial back blast from TA Honk's resulted in TA being called out....crickets. Rather telling to me, how much crap must be posted on this thread by TA parent's. Thanks TA for shutting the he[[ up!!

Lol, this is a an anonymous site first of all...and secondly, no..there is no NDA. The TA Honks were punched in the nose and called out; and much like any bully that is called out...they have backed down.

Yes, but what got them wasn't any boasting from Crossfire about Surf Cup. It was the questionnaire, from an informed parent (that would be yours truly), who already knows that many of the answers for TA are not the answers a professional academy ought to be providing.

TA's competition isn't, or shouldn't be, local clubs like Crossfire or FC or any of the Alliance clubs. It should be RSL or FC Dallas or LAFC.
