Hahaha....the results were extrapolated. TA lost in a soccer match against Xfire and a 2nd grader.

That check is still paying this year too. Main reason why he is still coaching. Big bonus for tight ass Gavin W. More money saved for the owner MP. Now the TA has two coaches for four teams and still has a re-tread Academy Director that can’t do what he wants because of GW’s tight ass purse strings.

Plan on a huge fire sale before the end of this year.

If this is true, then no wonder so many people criticize the 05 TA team. Typical Portland. Take something that should be easy, and screw it up 7 ways from Sunday. I just became "Team Little DA" in this argument.

Sorry you need your head examined, this bizarre and somewhat out of bounds obsession began on the forum when the boys were aged 10 & 11.

Only a person without a brain would think this 'obsession with little boys' is a good thing, if they did (think it was a good thing) then it's normally reported to the authorities

Why don't you educate us on Croatia and France run their programs at 10-13. Do PSG run local leagues, charge $s to neighborhood clubs? Do they reject competition at those ages? How about Argentina or Spain?

Sorry, I don't follow. The claim above was that the enthusiasm for low quality, amateur club level competition at ages 10-13 is somehow connected to what "drives" soccer operates globally. That's a pretty dumb claim.

If you have thoughts about other ways in which our system doesn't match up to global standards, that's totally legitimate. But it doesn't really have bearing on the legitimacy of whatever it is the 05 parent group/clubs are engaged in.

. . . and I think it is dumb to blame perceived weaknesses in the Oregon market on over-competitiveness. I don't think there is data to support that Oregon clubs are more competitive than southern California clubs or Spanish clubs. Of the many weaknesses in our structure, competitiveness between parents/clubs seems to be the least of our problems.
