So when does RF get to serve his suspension? Next year with TA?
And more importantly, who gets credited for the 3 goals in each of these games? (Forfeitures go in the standings as a 3-0 win IIRC--or at least they would if the DA kept standings; it appears that instead it's being simply treated as a cancelled game).

So much for the Quest For 40...
AJS gets credit for the goals, right? Like you didn’t see that one coming
It looks like AP and RF won't be able to pile up meaningless goals.
Another chance for WashT parent to gripe.
It just isn’t fair that Eastside forfeited.
It isn’t fair the way FC would have played against Eastside.
It isn’t fair how many goals FC would have scored....
It isn’t fair that the player with the red card can’t serve the suspension because the game is forfeit
It isn’t fair that FC is better than WashT

Put a sock in it you whiny little donkey.
Amusing.
Next year should be interesting. Crossfire, WashT, and Westside probably will be the top 3--if for no other reason than they have stable rosters and coaching situations, and were competitive sides this past season. FC is bleeding out, and will be a far far different team without RF, MG and TE (though AP and AK will keep them competitive, and LD will shore up their backline). Eastside isn't doing DA. CFC will still be CFC; though given that 4H are State Cup champions there might be a giant sucking sound back to OYSA for some players.
And United PDX? Who knows? Sounds like they may have a completely different team next year. Some BSC holdovers (though rumor has it, many of the BSC families are getting royally screwed), some NEU or even Eastside kids, some FC refugees, and reportedly the Slytherins. They could be the top team. Or they could crash and burn.
Some clubs seem mainly interested in political and financial intrigue, and in piling up Ws (even in DA). Others seem interested in developing talent rather than deploying squads full of ringers. And we all know which is which.

Not a Washington parent, but a X fire parent. I have called your whiny, petulant little FC butt out on this before. Quit calling people a donkey. It is...weird, and stupid...and really begs the question what is your fascination with donkeys? None of my business if in your personal life you have a donkey service you at night, but stop bringing it onto here. Oh...and for the record, Washington is a MUCH better, complete, and dangerous team than FC. We play them tomorrow, and I am actually looking forward to watching that team play. Always do. They play the game the right way, and compile so many goals off of a big build up. FC, does not. Now, you could have. With AP and RF, you definitely could. But, only if the coach had taught the team to play the right way...to build. Okay, back to your naughty donkey.

Pretty sure WaT beat FC 3 times this year...in my book that means that WaT are the better team

On the subject of donkeys, some ancient Persian poetry:

A goal is a goal, a run is a run, a touchdown is a touchdown, a basket is a basket. There are no additional points awarded for how the points were scored or what led up to the points being scored. Just because one team doesn't score goals the way YOU like to see them, doesn't make them worth any less.

But some teams actively played their best players up, to maximize their development.
Other teams kept them on age, to maximize their wins.
(And some teams had nobody on the roster capable of playing up).

Liverpool beat Man City 3 out of four times too. The fourth game being a draw.
Does that mean that Liverpool is better?
Man City won the Premier League 20 points ahead of 2nd place and 25 points ahead of Liverpool. It is all about matchups, and that is why there is a full season with teams playing all teams multiple times... To find out who is the better team, and that would be the team at the top of the table when all is said and done. In the 17/18 season, that team just happened to be FC Portland whether we agree or not.
