Sorry FC but BSC was really the better team today and will prove this even more as Spring closes and United PDX is formed.. Best part was we realized at the half that a lot of FCP parents were actually the employees in s few different capacities for our BSC parents. Pecking order established!

At BSC, RB liked to play a run and pass game, and had the players to do it. Washington Timbers are more of a technical team. Is there a style mismatch here? Is a scheme that was successful in the first half of the season (both at winning and at player development) being scrapped for a different way of playing? Is this just new coach blues? Or just a bad day?

Or have your two spring opponents improved that much?

If I wanted to hate, I would have said "WashT sucks, ha ha!" or something else dumb and trollish. But the program has had a major coaching change. Am wondering if someone decided to fix what wasn't broke...

We have the same coach. We had RB sub in today as our coach was unavailable. Overall, teams ARE getting better. We have had some player integration and players are trying new positions and so it seems we will suffer success in terms of wins for the development of the kids/team. Good to see some potential parity however. If you have just 1 or 2 dominant teams, complacency reigns. Now the kids get a sense that they cannot just show up and collect the win. I have high hopes for a competitive Eastside team this spring.

Not a parent of either team but now I am confused, didn't fc win the game? That would tell me the pecking order is well established and fc is still better than United bsc or whatever u are calling yourselves these days.
