    Seconded. Needs to happen.

That would be an ideal scenario for u14/15, especially if the Washington DA teams got on board and did similar, and a more regional league for OR/WA was created with possibly 8 or ten teams in that age group.

Hardly. These two clubs pull a lot of kids from roughly the same demographic, both have excellent coaches, successful teams at older ages, mostly do all the same tournaments etc.

Don't have to imagine, Oregon use to combine all the best players onto just one club team and they rolled with great coaching, development and exposure some players even became NCAA all Americans and MLS top draft picks, while their supporting cast of teammates went to high powered colleges. Those were the days my friend. Not today.

Imagine if Oregon had present day coaches and clubs that could attract the best of the best.

            it's easy if you try.

This was the norm for decades until all the local club coaches needed to get $$$$ and Timbers moved into the picture around 2012/13.

It won't happen in our current landscape, unless these dudes coaching find other work.

By geographical pairing for the top team they all stay relevant, share DA costs, and keep all the players assigned to the second teams at their prospective clubs. It’s a win win.

I thought Timbers Academy was suppose to do that.

                    4-4-2 Formation

                    1-FCP starting GK
2-WT 2006 very fast and scrappy, defender on the left.
3-CF bigger defender in the middle. Name starts with a D.
4-This is a hole. I would comb all the teams for a big, fast defender. I can't think of anyone that fits the bill. Anyone? Haven't seen one yet in this league I would be uber thrilled about.
5-CF, smaller defender on the right. Fast and fierce one. Likes to slide.
6-WT number 7 on the left. The one with a huge left foot.
7-WT midfielder they won't stop talking about in the middle of the park.
8-2006 FCP Mid, also in the middle. This one has initials PM. And absolutely not the overrated T from FCP.
9-BSC's center mid on the right.
10-FCP Big guy up top. Yes, the one everyone complains about for fouling.
11-His FCP counterpart that scores the majority of FCP goals also up top with him.

The player that has both impressed and pissed people off the most is the FCP forward that starts with an R. People love to hate him, but he is good and there is no denying that.

Can someone name a legit center back? I said legit.
This has to be a joke right?
Little DA could not assemble an all star team that would be able to compte with TA, but nice try. lol

The joke is you if you believe otherwise. Hate to break it to you, but Oregon DA could compile an all star team that beats TA 9-10 times. I have zero doubts about that. TA has a porous defense and a goalie who gives up goals in bunches. Once TA is down, the collective bad attitude/dysfunction in that team takes over and they quit. Prove me wrong?

It actually already happened this last year in odp- as soon as TA formed its roster in May they basically broke the odp group up accordingly. the "green" team was essentially the "all star" team being thrown out with a few exceptions. During scrimmages the green team outplayed the white (most of the current TA STARTERS) on a regular basis and in the friendship cup outplayed common opponents and moved the ball and defended at a much higher level. For you to sit here and say it's got to be a joke shows that you have no clue about the talent and where it's at in the 05 age group. Just because there is a logo does not mean talent is driving the decision making bus. So lol all you want but you are just laughing at yourself and your complete lack of knowledge. In fact there are a couple DA teams that would probably split 10 games played against them on their own...

I agree with everything said here except.....TA ODP team was green. The better team, with Oregon DA kids was white.

So how do we make this happen next year for the kids sake? I know most of the parents on this list know each other from odp last year and those that did not do odp are teammates of someone who did. Can any club or group come up with a logistical way to make it happen taking washington players and commutes into account and is anyone interested in creating competition for the chit show that is the TA

Thanks for the laugh..this league has proven to drain bank accounts of local parents on the girls side of club ball. Boys parents don't have that kind of cash to burn.
