Where do you find the game reports?

No. He wasn't at the game.
It looked like they were in a 4-5-1 using #91 as there lone forward.

Good to see Timbers are playing the u13's like it's a win at all costs game and still can't
get over the hump. Most subs are playing 10' minutes or less (some 2mins?? Why at that point). crossfire premier subbed most of its bench at half it looks like. Game time is necessary for development as well and TA is doing a huge disservice for half this group especially considering the 8 hours in the car/bus for everyone.

They have to use all their substitutions. Other rule is that everyone should get at least 25% (I think) of total playing time, but averaged over a season.

Obviously being subbed in two minutes before the final whistle, especially in a travel game, is probably a disappointment for the kids to whom it happens--it basically is saying to the kids, "you're only getting in because we HAVE to put you in".

On the other hand, the players who are getting the lions share of the playing time, are more or less the ones I would expect.

(And Malfoy didn't play at all...)

25% over the course of a season playing time is a straight up SCAM and they don't give a rats ass about your kid.

There is nothing in the history of soccer or education that would tell you that 25% playing time is at all a good idea.

Even the best coaches in the world would say that's straight up scam like.

Why do you care? It's free. It's a professional academy. It's not their responsibility to develop all the kids equally.

I am not the poster you were responding to, but...it is not free. Cheaper, yes...but not free. It is not a professional academy by any stretch of the imagination. In name, yes...in practice, no. Finally, given the way and means the Timbers have decided to treat this age group, starting with trying to cock block the state of oregon from having DA (you notice how NOBODY says "little DA" anynore when referring to Orrgon DA teams as opposed to TA DA?) so that they could try and create a monopoly at this age group...to Billups buying a team for his Son and coach of choice, to the shady way the team was put together. No ir is clear they do not feel they have any responsibility to developing these, or any kids.

WashT 5, FC 2. Given that the Vancouverites managed four goals against Westside's defense, they should be good for at least 5 against FC. OTOH, FC won't let WT FC have a clean sheet.
Actual: WashT wins 3-2. FC did well against the team across the river. Not enough to win, but enough to show. Result: Off the post, and in.

Westside 6, Eastside 0. Sooner or later, Eastside is going to get a goal; and it could happen this weekend--but if BSC was able to shut them out, WT should be able to as well.
Actual: Westside wins 4-0. WT is not a terribly good offensive team, but still was able to notch four. And ET rarely bothered Westside's keeper on the other end. Result: Past the keeper's fingertips, and in.
Crossfire 6, BSC 1. BSC simply can't stop any team not named Eastside.
                            Actual (unofficial): BSC 1-0

                            Oh yes they can!

The games that make this interesting are not those I get right. Instead, it's the upsets. And BSC pulled off a shocker--not only getting the W, but holding Crossfire's high-octane offense scoreless.

Result: Ten yards wide of the net, knocks the chainsaw out of Timber Joey's hands.

OYSA prediction review will come later, as one score still is not reported yet.

Haha do you really believe that should be the case with 12 year olds? You are exactly the problem with the system and why the other "half" of us who have kids that are just as talented as those you say "are being developed" will not have our kids associated with anything Timbers- you are delusional.

                                1) Crossfire. Dumped CFC (3-1), as expected. This weekend should take care of business against BSC.
                                2) Washington Timbers. Idle this past weekend; next weekend host FC.
                                3) FC. Beat Westside. Get a sterner test when they travel to the 'Couv.
                                4) CFC. Lost to Crossfire, no shame in that. Get next weekend off.
                                5) Westside. Lost to FC Portland, again. Host Eastside--a game they should win... but now they are next up in the "who will give up a goal to Eastside?" sweepstakes.
                                6) BSC. Beat up on Eastside, and finally kept a clean sheet. Gets much tougher as they face Crossfire.
                                7) Eastside. I feel sorry for these guys. Coming out to Poowerlines to face Westside next weekend.
                                1) Washington Timbers. Took care of business against FC. Did not fall on face against BSC. Travel down I-205 this weekend to visit Eastside. Will laugh if they give up a goal.
                                2) Crossfire. Fell on face against BSC. Note that this poll tries not to overreact to one game, so Crossfire only drops to #2. Host Westside this weekend.
                                3) FC. Dropped a close one to Washington Timbers; as a result stay right where they are. Get next weekend off.

After that, it's a mess. Sorry about the three-way tie, but the voter was undecided.

4T) Capitol. Were off this weekend, but now have to share their perch. Host BSC next weekend.
4T) BSC. Pulled off the biggest upset so far in the DA season. Heading down to Salem.
4T) Westside. Took care of business against Eastside, avoided being the first team to get scored on by them. This weekend, travel down to Wankers' Corner to face a pissed-off Crossfire team.
                                7) Eastside. Still scoreless. Would probably be a middle-of-the-pack team in OYSA Premier. It only gets harder this weekend, with WT FC coming to visit.
