I know its a "level" playing field, but these boys are way too fast already to have just one poor soul trying to keep pace.
And those line judges would have been instrumental today. unfortunately a missed offsides call resulted in the first goal which changed a tightly contested game up to that point. ADF did play a more complete game so they got the win and take nothing away from them.. I will say this one time though- these refs need to get control of the games, tough physical play is expected and ok at this age and level, but you cannot let players take shots at players from behind especially cheap shots to the legs and ankles away from the ball.

and yet despite this blatant behavior, Crossfire was never able to get into ADF's heads and still lost the game. what's your point anyway?

Not the OP, but I will give you a point. Here it is, you licked out and drew a favorable, same language speaking ref. Your coaches communicated with him directly during the game, from the sideline, in Spanish and as luck would have it, the calls went your way. One of Crossfires kids was body slammed in the box when your 14 year old right back couldn't keep up with him. Ref smiled, and shook his head. In spite of the fact that Danny Almonte took him out from behind and was laying on the Crossfire player. Should have been a PK.

Also, have never seen a ref yell for the team manger to come down on the field for a meeting with oysa official and coach for 10 minutes while roster and player cards were checked. Again, nothing new. Teams cheat and get away with it. Crossfire played ADF 4 times this year, went 2-2 with them. Crossfire had the same team starters and bench every time. ADF had 2 kids from begining to end that were the same. Game is over. Hope your kids stay safe and that their recjless play doesn't injure others or them. Also, this has to be said....the most talented player for ADF was in the stands wearing a ratty, red, t shirt and 4 legs.

Did someone say whine and cheese? Yes it's true that ADF lost half its team this year and still shut you out.

Point is this, ref allowed it one way and called it tickey tack the other way. that play is dirty and if continued someone will get hurt- maybe your player next time. if that's how you want to play and condone it then you have issues. You do realize that you only scored on two errors by said referee. On bs free kick awarded to you after a crossfire player took another cheap shot from behind away from the ball (that was once again allowed) and pushed said player off him as he got up and the offsides goal that was allowed. You possessed the ball yes but the difference was those 2 plays and a person in Yellow who was terrible and let a lot of dirty play go.

Hi, Crossfire parent here. We lost. Game over. It is what it is. We'll see you next time....oh wait, will we? You don't have DA...hmm, that does present a problem. Actually, come to think of it, you really don't know if you will have a club. Okay, we will not see you next time. So...yeah. btw, wine and cheese beats the hell out of chef boyardee and budweiser.

ADF had same kids all year. Actually less than in the fall.
A bit tragic your team does not know how to graciously lose. The above post ladies and gents is what we have all come to expect from Crossfire when they lose. Always saying "it's not fair" and trying to assert that all minorities have somehow cheated. So with this we bid farewell to you Crossfire United. With a smile and a wave we thank you for your efforts and look forward to playing you next year.

Not Crossfire United--that is the ECNL partnership between Crossfire and THUSC. THUSC, especially with Tom A. gone, doesn't behave in such a childish fashion. (And THUSC has no decent boys teams anyway).

                        This is 100% Crossfire.

Just amazed that Crossfire can even manage to field premier teams...with 95% of decent players bailing all of their feeder clubs by U10 and all.

How many times did the goalkeepers punt the ball?

Not every time, but far too many.
