This ref left a lot to be desired but the shoddy calls went both ways so it probably evened out. Both teams played great and the result is what it should have been. The Make-ups of these two teams are very different. FC Pdx trends towards playing its largest and most physical players on its top team, whereas ADF had a much, much smaller team physically but that was definitely superior technically. It will be fun watching these teams go at it again in the spring.

ADF parents area always looking for excuses to convince themselves they are better than they are. They are an average team, with average players and some extremely irrational and obnoxious parents. It's no wonder the kids are always complaining, fouling and have double the cards of any other team. They need a serious lesson in good sportsmanship from the sidelines to the field. The coach seems like a very fair and rational guy who can likely do a lot of good if the parents would just get out of the way. ADF parents are exactly what's wrong with youth soccer in America today.

This really couldn't be further from the truth about these families. A really nice group of parents and kids from bottom to top frankly. Yellow cards happen. Big deal.

That said, ADF does have quite a few talented players on their roster.
