FCs goalkeeper is amazing, but I watched the game last Sunday and he touched the ball only a handful of times in the second half. The back line and mids didn't let anything in the box. That team locks down which goes back to the 19 goals allowed over 22 games-ish.
Unfortunately for Jaime he has 2-3 ghosts haunting him at FC now.

This is too bad and disappointing from FCPDX's development.

Agreed! And the FC parents should have a reality check. They are where they are because of their GK. The rest of the team is just riding his coat tails. They would get thumped by a number of teams in this league without him.

In our encounters with FC they have shown to be much more than one goalkeeper. When we played at Liberty in the fall one of their forwards had about three goals and when we played the a couple of weeks ago one of their mids torched us with like four or five. They have a great defensive/holding mid who sets the tone and we honestly could not get many shots on goal to even test their keeper. I am not disputing that their keeper isn't solid, but when their back line and mids don't even give us opportunities to get off good shots, and different boys are lighting it up on offense in different games, it speaks to more than just a keeper.

Some ADF 04s just joined BSC DA and an ADF 05 who's recent departure created a stir and who's parent somehow has BSC convinced to let him train with the DA 04s. Curious to hear what poor BSC kids get the bump for new ADF kids. You would think most DA groups are only looking to take on the advanced, older and stronger 05s to play up with all the 04s so this one is a head scratcher. Club number six for all these kids in three years?
