So you admit you don't know her and yet stand up for her? Weird. The reason why you had a good first impression is because she is a great salesman, and the funny thing is I never said anything bad about her coaching ability as I actually thought she was a good coach I just stated facts about her never being there which is absolutely true

She has never tried to sell me anything. I honestly dont know her but at camps and events my daughter has been at she always came away with good feelings towards this coach. Never recruited by her or even talked to privately. My kid just sayed very positive things. She took time for my daughter and cared enough to coach her up. My impression was she is one of the good guys in this. I think maybe you had a bad experience. It happens.

look, when she's there she was great . My daughter liked her but the problem is a coach that only shows up one out of every four or five practices, no matter how great they are, is just not getting the job done. What kind of commitment level should a coach like that expect out of their players? Not much of one I'd say. And again I will agree that she is personable and likeable, when she's there

I've been evaling parents for years, and always been a HUGE part of my process. I made a mistake here in Clark County because I really liked the kid, and paid for it dearly. The parents had actually spent time teaching the kid to dive and feign injuries. As he was going down, before he even touched the deck, his head was turning to see if the ref was biting.

For me it was embarrassing......

God. Coach's kids in the same club team bs. Pray that your dk isn't playing the same
position as the golden child. Pray that your dk isn't better than the golden child (how could
that be with the special training from the coach?) Pray that your dk is a friend with the
golden child or your dk will be riding the pine. I wish I knew that before my dk joined a
coach's kid team.

It's happened to us. It was a freakin' nightmare.
