Oregon State Cup Champs from Vantucky

We will probably slowly start to see more and more Vantucky teams going deeper into our state cup. This is the first year they were all cleared to do our state cup. Although I don't agree that a team from Washington should be able to represent my state I will say I do enjoy the better competition. Vantucky is very strong and it helps our leagues to have them. Less and less Vantucky players are coming across the river. They are doing a better job in retaining players. Until the thorns academy and ECNL get their poop together you will keep seeing this trend.
Yes, you will always see whackos that want to travel one hour each way to practice but those players will be non existent by U15. By U15 those players give their crazy parents the middle finger and tell them to F@&k off!

Of course you'll see them going deeper, with talent from the metro area scattered between ECNL and DA (removed from competition) and the lack of financial and time commitment from these players and families would only make sense that they would show better. No rocket scientist needed here!

WashT has even stated that they can't provide a top level experience for HS aged girls and encourage them to leave for other, better clubs.

Awe, does actual quantitative data that refutes your argument about Vancouver hurt your little feelings? Or did your club get knocked out by a WT_FC team in state? Or even better, you are hungry and thinking about corn on the cob because you haven't been able to cash your welfare check because the state of Oregon doesn't have any funds to pay you.
