They could stay here in Oregon and beat everyone or they can travel and play better competition. You're clearly the kind of person who prefers second tier competition so you can win. Real competitors seek better competition.

TA clubs are a fraud. They are nothing more than glorified rec clubs teaching this stay at home and play your fun soccer on the weekends mentality. Have fun and stay comfortable at home if you're satisfied with that. There really is nothing wrong with that.

ECNL clearly makes you uncomfortable though since you morons can't stop obsessing over it. How does it feel sitting on the sideline with no hope of getting in? I'm sure that was your experience playing sports growing up. You're probably used to it. You're simply not good enough and that is why you resort to anonymously attacking these kids, teams and clubs.

Do you know the teams they played against? No don't even pretend you do because we all know you don't. You don't step outside Oregon so you couldn't. So keep attacking ECNL. Actually it's called third person. And our coach was smart enough to not go and to save us all a cool grand. We'll play later when we have some league games and practices behind us. Stupid to go down there now.

This was simply a showcase for the players to be seen by west coast college coaches. Too bad a lot of player were not able to attend due to various HS state cups. Showcases are for being seen, that is all.

That said, tell me what college coach wants to go scout players on day 2 from a team that got blown out on Friday 9-0? Sorry, not going to happen. I think CU and FCP did their families a disservice by taking these unprepared and light rostered teams to a showcase. They probably scared coaches away more than any thing else.

You must be one of the CU coaches who made the decision to go down to Phoenix since I spoke with a number of various parents and they all thought it was stupid to go down this close to HS. The coaches just wanted a paid 3 days down in Phoenix in November.
