That's setting the bar pretty low.

CU is flat out bad. It is going to be another long, long season for them in ECNL. Their ECNL teams are flat out bad.

CU may struggle in ECNL but not as badly as FC PDX will struggle.

          Based on what evidence?

I bet both ECNL clubs do considerably better then westside FC.

Especially since FC lost only 1 of the 5 games vs CU on Sunday...

Ignore the moronic fact ignoring CU parents. They can only resort to attacks on Westside when trying to defend their pathetic results. Last year was terrible and no reason to think it will be any better this year. The only team that had reasonable results were the U16s and from mid season on, they were just as bad as the rest of the teams. And their results so far this year aren't good.

And overall did better in ECNL then CU did last year. Not to disparage CU both have very good girls teams.

Saying that CU has good girls teams is like saying that UoP was competitive in women's soccer this season.

CU should not be in ECNL. They have poor coaching staff and the clubs (LO and THUSC) are not developing their younger teams for the future so that they can compete in ECNL. I can guarantee that both LO and THUSC at the younger age groups have coaches that 'Do their own thing' when developing a player. A broken system. When they get together at 13 and 14 you have the Atencio boot ball mixed in the LO money ball and all you will get is poor results and confused players.

Thanks. I know. But if your eyes are not as good as mine watching soccer you could just look up the poor results to get the same conclusion.

Yes, you should look at the results. Eyes. We all have them. But some have blinders, some only look through rosy colored lenses, some need strong lenses to actually see, some even refuse to see, some simply can't see.
