Stop being stupid. This is some one whining about their August born kid no longer being a year older than everyone else. Boo hoo!!

Now that US Soccer has made the move to birth year, next up is coed teams through U14. Consultants have noted this will help drive development.

- Teams will be required to roster 50% girls and 50% boys.

- Playing time cumulative over each half will be required to be exactly 50/50 at all times.

- And every player should get equal time throughout the season at every position which will require statisticians at games starting at U8.

- This will run through U14 at which time they will split to boys and girls teams.

This won't be easy or popular but it's critical we start moving in a positive direction with development.

In a couple of years everyone will be glad we've done this.

There is no question on how it will be implemented. New age restrictions will be in affect next tryouts. What's so hard to understand? Everyone will try out in May and teams will be formed.
