I think it is odd that the current staff at FC will get a player to commit to UofP then try and get her to National Team training. Seems like it should be reverse. Find kids worthy of National Team then recruit.

It's not about getting better Sherlock, It's about the cache of your recruiting class.
Being able to say 2 kids from this upcoming recruiting group are national team invites. Is it the same when you politic hard and pull strings to get them there?

One of the gals on the 97 team is a great recruit and could have gone a lot of places.
