Individual development not team resutls
Since I don't remember a college coach offering one team all of his/her scholarships for a year we have to keep in mind that TEAM results are irrelevant.
What matters is the development of the INDIVIDUAL. Yes being on a better team with better coaching helps the player reach their physical and mental potential but this argument about FC vs CU is an ego trip with no destination. Oregon players have limited options regardless if they choose ECNL or the TA.
The comparison of the programs will should be based upon which players get what offers they weren't already on track to get and the value of those offers. I doubt we will be able to see huge results for either program or club in the first few years but there may be a few individual stories.
I know my DD's participation in ECNL gave her more choices and "increased" the value of her eventual selection.
