And yes, two teams are in the top division from Oregon. All the rest are in the "everyone gets a trophy" divisions. Gotta love ECNL, you can finish with a 25% winning percentage and a minus 20 GD, but as long as you are above the worst 15 teams nationally, YOU GET A SPOT.

Much better opportunity then my dd had. She finished 4th in OYSA but since the top three teams weren't going they got to go to FWRL. They lost all three matches including one to a rec team from Utah.

Even with those players, they're (ECNL teams) are still better your dd or your dd's team, still playing better competition. Get over it and cheer at the bus stop for those girls that are still better then your daughter coming back from FWRL in Boise that got smacked around.

Actually, you are wrong on every count. Every one of them. The one that is defensive is the dad whose dd is one of those that I am talking about, a girl who made an ECNL team only because of numbers and daddy's wallet and gets to play because of the generosity of the coach who lets her get in there for 15 minutes a game.

200 judges of college ready talent agree your dd can't play for them.

any coach worth their salt in oregon could of told you that for free without any travel.

For arguments sake lets say you are correct. This guys kid is not good enough to go D1. Isnt it better to know that she had the opportunity to show her skills to real D1 coaches and the people who get to decide that actually saw her play. Assuming his kids desire is to play D1 in College.

Notre Dame was at my kids game yesterday. Friggin Notre Dame!! My kid is a pretty good player. Probably wont get to go to Notre Dame but she isnt getting seen by them without ECNL.
