I know a couple families as well, and there must be a reason that 11 of the 15 kids from last year followed him over and 3 of the other 4 either made the A team or b team at ***c?

Yes there is a reason. **** parents aren't that bright. Most of those kids will return once they see that mgmt at new club doesn't care about building their age group. But don't get me wrong, they will certainly cash their checks.

And WT_FC has ever been interested in building this age group? Sure they have. Might be why over half of the girls have left the club in the last 2 years.

Exactly, if ***c wanted to build up this age group they could've added a 3rd tier 2 team and we wouldn't be having this conversation. But when you lose 10 plus girls a year, this yr they lost 20 plus as some went across the river as well you show your not too worried about this age group. They are fully invested in the younger ages ie academy ages as those ages will reflect the job the new leadership has done. No Ill will towards the club, I wish them the best in the future and like the new turf.

Vantucky netted 82 players this year. While you see people leaving others are coming. Moving to FCSC is just dumb. Zero organization. If you have a kid at the G'00 age group then you're set otherwise it's painful. Wait until next tryouts. Numbers will move even more in favor of Vantucky

In this particular age group (G01), over 30 girls have left for other clubs over the last 24 months. WT_FC has gone from having 6 teams + extras to barely being able to form 3 teams. That didn't happen because WT_FC was providing top level coaching...

It's so funny to hear you call a c team coach that term, really he's the bad seed in the club? Like the other poster said outside of his team leaving he had nothing to do with the other 20plus a team level girls leaving the last couple of yrs. It's sad that a coach can't want more for his team without being labeled as a problem coach. Was there a reason why so many of his kids turned down the b team last year? Is there a reason the ones that stayed 4 out of 5 are either on the A or B team. Yeah terrible coach....

+82 isn't bad I guess. 2% increase for a club that fashions itself the biggest and the best in the area. Only about 3 more years of that to make up for what was lost over the last 2 years. Not to mention that the club is still losing top players at the older ages (U14 and up) at an astonishing rate. All of the increase was in the U9/U10 age groups.

the new DOC said that the goal of the club is to lose players from U14 and up to ECNL, Thorns Academy and Timbers Academy. I'm not understanding what you're saying.

in reality, it should be a clubs goal to develop players and send them to the next level.
